Christmas content ideas for small businesses.

With Christmas and Black Friday just weeks around the corner, it's well and truly time to start planning your festive content!

November & December can be the busiest and best selling months of the year for many small businesses, so it's important to maximise this opportunity and think carefully about your marketing content for the festive period.

Whether you choose to market your business via social media, printed materials, or exciting e-newsletters, having stand-out visuals is key to getting the attention of your potential customers.

So, I’m going to share some festive content ideas for small businesses & show you how you can use brand images for your Christmas marketing. Let’s get in to it!

Black Friday.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday are a great time to offer deals. You might have already thought about what deals you’ll offer this year, but have you started thinking about how to market your deals? Have you started thinking about what images you could use to promote your deals and grab people's attention? If not, one idea that’s great for Black Friday is posing in front of a black background. I like to leave lots of space around you, so you can overlay text and input your deal details!

Christmas.

Then, of course, we've got the lead-up to Christmas. If you want to encourage Christmas sales, you're going to need enough festive content for the whole month of December! Content to post on your social platforms, festive images for your website & newsletters, and Xmas photos for any printed materials you might need too (like Christmas market flyers or Christmas cards for past or potential clients). So, get those cosy winter woollies on, grab a warm drink, and make sure your background is looking festive, to really drum up that holiday feeling!

New Year.

And don't forget about New Year's Eve & January 1st! This is a great time of year to share some celebration-themed content with your audience. Think, sparkly outfit and champagne (or anything else that conjures up the idea of celebrating.) Hold up a glass and make a toast to your audience in your social post caption.

Don't worry, I've got you!

When you book a personal brand shoot with me during October or November, we can discuss all the images you might need for your upcoming festive content and make sure you end up with heaps of great images to choose from!
